Thank you so much for your lovely comments on the Monday post. M and I took a couple of days to ourselves at the beginning of the week. It’s such a strange feeling to be in the city center in Erlangen during working days. Normally we take advantage of our work holidays to travel either home or discover the world. Never have we stayed in Erlangen; it feels in a way as if the student life is over for good and we are living an adult life. How bittersweet! I won’t write about adulthood today, I promise to extend on a separate post. Today I just want to write about sun-seeking, pretty skirts, and sale deals. This girl knows what makes her happy!
My Wolford tights have 20 denier past days and my hand reaches for trench coats and flower prints. We had lunch at our favorite cafe on Monday, soaking outdoors in precious augmented sunlight. They say uncomplicated moments are the happiest and they are so right.
I need to tell you of my latest brilliant find the Whistles brand. I own three beautiful items, acquired during sales, as they tend to be on the pricier side. I checked the stitching, the material, originality, and Whistles has it all, I treasure each single item and hope to wear them for many years to come. Whistles is a high-street British brand revived in 2008 under the direction of Jane Shepherdson. The brand launches two collections per year and each single piece is very unique, of excellent quality and design. I was lucky to have found this beautiful jacquard flower skirt in my size at the beginning of sales. A while back, I recall writing a post about 2D fashion, I finally own a 2D garment my darling, the blooms have texture and volume, what’s even better, a dress (here) and pants (here) are available as well.
