Houndstooth Wool Skirt & First Winter Outfit

Windy, cold winter weather and bags simply don’t go together, a simply fact I have realized with my new haircut! Expectedly, taking these picture yesterday had been a struggle, my hair was flying unattractively in all directions and it was painfully cold out there for me to pose longer and of course, my poor love to capture these picture. Can’t believe this is the second winter my blog is online and although at times I am sad for not being able to produce so much content, I do take pride for the posts I manage to hit ”publish”, each week.

We had family visiting this weekend, we learned new corners of Frankfurt but mostly we did coffee shop hopping as it was simply too cold to walk the streets. Sunday morning I wore new houndstooth skirt from Maje, thick cashmere thighs from Wolford and this gorgeous sweater from Envii, a newly discovered brand. I must admit at first I was disappointed with the length of the skirt, I expected to look shorter on my petite body. There is no possibility to shorten as it has these beautiful black buttons on one side. At first, I thought to send it back but it’s so well made and warm that I couldn’t resist, after all, every woman needs a slightly over the knee, modest skirt.

I do not think your skirt is too long. It looks the perfect lenght for winter. And your new hairstyle is so lovely. The whole look is really pretty.
