How to Properly Wear Cropped Jumpers in Winter

Lately, I have been obsessed with anything cropped. The reason? The beautifully made high waisted skirt from Maje last seen (here) and a pair of jeans from Lee (here), newly added to my wardrobe. Copped tops and hight wasted clothes work wonders for us petite women, as the illusion of a short torso and longer legs is created. Add to that 6-7 cm high-heels and the world is instantly elevated.

However although I have sacrificed many things for fashion (in the pocked direction), common sense prevents me from freezing in the current below 0 temperatures, we enjoy in Germany. There is a little secret of my generation knows but the younger females does not seem to embrace. Yes, I am speaking of the generation who cheeps up the freezing temperatures as they can finally wear the furry Gucci slippers.

The only way my lovelies how to wear a cropped sweater, even a short coat in winter is wearing a body underneath. My favorite brand at the moment is Skiny and I own this white piece (here) and this fun flower grey body (here). Together with 3 much older pieces I own since my university days I keep wearing on rotation the past freezing-cold days.

How do you keep yourself sensibly fashionable in winter? I’d love to read your tips.

I constantly searching “winter fashion” in Pinterest and find nothing that actually looks warm. It’s a breath of fresh air when I find a stylish outfit that actually looks warm. To stay warm I love layering and then piling on a belt or a long necklace.

I know exactly what you mean Logan! I keep searching for a winter fashion inspiration as well but most of people live in warmer climates. Other girls that I follow somehow don’t seem to mind to the cold weather as I see them wearing dresses without tights on! Having said that I love cute and romantic style but it’s difficult to be cute in freezing temperatures. One could say though I am not sacrificing enough for fashion :p
Thank you for your lovely and thoughtful comment!
