Winter City Chic

Although in spirit I am already living in springtime, February has been nothing but wintery here in Frankfurt. It doesn’t matter how much I overload my wishlists with jackets and midi dresses for spring and summer, the weather outside my office window, on a Sunday morning speaks otherwise. I love this time of the year when we all are fed up with the cold weather, anticipating spring. Am I the only one who constantly checks for the first tree blossoms? I hope not!

My 2nd Day coat, last seen (here), for some reason I haven’t worn too often this winter. Being the color or the slightly dressier feel this coat remained prettily tucked in my wardrobe, fact that makes me sad thinking of it. As I do make sure to wear my clothes repeatedly, they have feelings too. One last time before the temperatures raise up, my coat and I bravely tiptoed around the street of Frankfurt, avoiding snow flocks, passing cars and puddles of water.  This masterpiece of a coat received so many compliments when I wear it daily and even on my Instagram. It comes up in several colors, grey (here), lila (here) and dark blue (here).

No, Tatyana. You are not the first to look for signs of Life. Every year I look, and it is so reassuring to see little green buds making an appearance. In the rose boarder the bushes are full of bud. A huge Camilla is likewise, and many are in bloom already. Spring bulbs are up and ready to come into flower. Such an exciting time of year, but soo cold.
Love from, Jojo in the garden.
