What’s in my day bag?

I am always curious what other women keep in their handbags. There are scattered quotes all around the internet about a woman’s handbags content being as vast as her soul. Judging from Max’s reaction everytime he’s caught rummaging in my handbags I can confirm that women do carry some bizarre items in their handbags. Emptying my bag’s content on our bed I took step-by-step pictures and put them into an animated video to show you guys what’s in my day bag.

My Aigner Cybill bag you’ve seen several times already. I can’t praise the quality of this bag highly enough. It’s been my working bag for over a year now with not a single sign of wear. Admittedly,  I am not somebody who treats handbags gently. The rose color has sold out but I’ve linked some other similar ones (here), (here) and (here).

My Fossil wallet is another item I own more than 2 years. In the past, I used to own a watch from Fossil and honestly I’ve worn to death. Surprisingly the brand makes very high-quality handbags, and other leather items as well. I picked a fun pattern and color, see similar wallets (here), (here) and (here).

I always carry a small notebook with me where I write down things that cause a feeling in me during the day. May that be a pretty location, an encouraging quote, a blog post idea. Could be anything really!

The most bizarre items you will find in my handbag are definitely my Swiss Smile toothbrush (here) and Snow White toothpaste (here).  After my lunch, I would just brush my teeth instead of eating a chewing gum. The reason for that is that I’ve had way too many chewing gums during my teenage years, a bad habit that has left some repercussions in my jaw structure. I’ve talked about this brand and their high-quality products in my Winter Morning Routine, the past month I have been testing the Snow White toothpaste as well. Not only it tastes amazing but the product is created to replace tooth bleaching without the addition of harmful components.

A hand cream should not be missing from anyone’s handbag. L’Occitane hand creams have been a favourite of mine, so much that Max brings me one always from his trips, (here) and (here).

MaxFactor Mastertouch concealer in ivory (here) has been a favorite drugstore product of mine, in fact, I am probably in my 5th tube already. After a long stressful day, I would add just a just a touch of the concealer with my fingers to cover the dark under eyes and the red blemishes on my face.

Carrying a hairbrush with me is a new habit as well (here). I am not the type of woman who would refreshen her makeup or brush her hair during every hour during a day. I am a firm believer of first impressions after all but ever since I got bangs my hair is a complete mess. Hair strands are flying all over the place, a funny sight, trust me.

Having said that L.O.V lipstick in Sina’s nude (here) is what I found in this handbag. My lipsticks are scattered all over the place really, often I have to empty all my bags collect them in one place, only to lose them a week later.

Now I have a question for you; What’s the most bizarre item you carry in your handbag?

*Snow White toothpaste was gifted to me, all opinions are of course my own.

I used to have a Fossil wallet and it was stolen and now I’m having such a hard time finding a new one that I like 🙁 So many of them are PVC rather than leather and the designs aren’t as cute as they used to be. Yours is cute!

I have just found this post. I cannot believe that Max rummaged in you bag. Here, that is deffinitely a no no.
In my bag you will find a small first aid kit; nailfile; lipbalm; notebook & pencil; little camera; a paper back book; a second clean hanky; chocolate, and other secret delights.
Wishing you both a lovely Eastertide.
