Saturdays after taking our breakfast we always like to walk to our local farmer’s market. It is really small but it’s the closest to walk to from our home instead of driving to the center of Frankfurt. The market has one flower shop, one fruit shop one an Italian delicatessen stand but that’s fine with us as we got the chance to taste all the products and the fruits as well as chit-chat with the shop owners. The last Saturday I picked for home this gorgeous Lila Chrysanthemums, local plums, and apples, plus peaches and nectarines from Italy that were truly delicious!
The weather cooled down the past days here at us, although it is warm enough to go bare legged, the trench coats and cardigans are officially out. I saw a girl one day in the city center that was wearing a silk, floral slip dress with a cardigan. Ever since I am trying to find the perfect slip dress like this one (here) and (here) to wear it in a similar way and even exchange the cardigan with a pullover. At the end, I ended up with this lace piece from BA&SH (here) as it was on sale and decided to be patient for the Keepsake dress until sales time. The dress is beautifully made, I love the low back and the lace details so although I haven’t found the perfect slip dress I am perfectly satisfied for the moment. In fact, this is the second dress from the brand, the first one seen (here) and I truly love their unique designs, elegant cut, and the fitting. There are so many good French brands at the moment that fit my petite stature, that make me poor but so much happier!
