Short sleeve knitwear has been something that I have always viewed with curiosity in clothing racks. Not quite warm to wear in winter, especially if you are like me and dislike wool coats on bare skin. They are also quite warm to wear in summer. Being someone that has had to build a whole wardrobe by myself from scratch, there was never enough budget to go for short sleeve knitwear. However, being at the age that I am now I can proudly say that I’ve got all my essentials and basic pieces already in my wardrobe. Now I only shop what catches my fancy, and this Kate Spade beige knit with huge black roses certainly did.
Now when is it the perfect time to wear this I wondered when it arrived home? Well with temperatures as warm as 17°C that we’ve been enjoying these two past weeks, I’ve already worn it already a couple of times. Second time with a light coat on my shoulders, something that I plan for the autumnal weather as well. If you may wonder if it makes sense to add short sleeve knitwear in your wardrobe. I think it definitely does! There is something with showing bits of skin when the weather is not properly warm. It’s mood lifting and unexpectedly elegant, to say at least.
