I’ve been told to have my grand mama’s hair, pinch black. Maybe unconsciously I’ve aimed to preserve her memory as I’ve never dyed my hair. I don’t have an elaborate hair routine or many fancy products that I use. I aim for softness, nutrient products to stop hair fall and splits.
I am blessed non oily hair, medium thick, with natural volume, on the dry side. That does sound lovely, it isn’t! M has a good laugh in the mornings with my hair. I am by no means a professional in hairstyles, but I like making an effort.

I’ve been a huge fun of Pantene Shampoos but lately I’ve switched to Loreal Elvital Oil Magique (here), not because of unsatisfactory results but for a change (that’s what women do). L’oreal never disappoints, the product smells divine and softens the hair, no need of hair mask or conditioner if your hair is naturally soft. In my case usage of hair mask or conditioner is necessary. Although at the moment I’ve swapped my conditioner with the hair mask from Garnier Mythical Oil hair mask (here) with native olive oil. I apply the mask for 2 minutes and the result is soft, silky texture.
Long hair is obligatory for a bride and I hadn’t had my hair cut in about a year, honestly I had no splits because of this miracle product, the Loreal Thermo protection (here). I apply it on the tips, far from the roots and dry with a towel in slow strokes.

You guys might remember from my previous posts my Diamond flat iron from Irresistible Me, after my hair is dry I use the iron to either straighten or curl in soft waves for fast results. I’ve been using the product for months and it’s been my best travel companion.
After styling I apply Schwarzkopf Osis Glamination Smooth Polish Elixir (here) a tiny drop of on the tips of my hair for a shining effect and control of hair tips dryness. I couldn’t exclude my Aussie Miracle Dry shampoo (here) and (here) from this post for two reasons; firstly the Aussie products are rated in kangaroos (how cute is that?) and it’s the best dry shampoo I’ve tried, no white marks behind. I use the product to give my hair texture when I style it straight.

Hi, This is a lovely blog and you seem like a very sweet person I was just browsing through sites and happened on yours. I would like to suggest that maybe you used one word incorrectly. It should probably be pitch black to describe the color. Have a great day.

My Grandmother had your colour hair well into her late 70s. Well I assume it was her natural colour. I think I have inherited her genes, though mine is not so dark. When I’m in my late 70s I will tell you if I’ve gone grey. White even. Those product do sound wonderful.

Thanks for the hair mask recommendation, I’ve been looking for one. Your hair looks lovely. I tend to use a Babyliss Big Brush rather than straightening irons but I’ll occasionally use those instead
