A weekend in Paris

There is a reason why Friday post was skipped last week and now you know why! M and I decided to celebrate Valentine’s few days ahead in a short trip to Paris. We flew in on Friday, at God’s forsaken 4 am time o’clock with only 3 hours sleep. We checked in at Le Bonn hotel, completely jet-lagged which is sort of ridiculous considering that Paris is only 1, 5 h flight trip from Nuremberg airport.

We were recommended the Le Brazza cafe for brunch in Neuilly sur Seine by our hotelier, brunching we did in the most off touristic cafe of Paris. Let me explain that; Paris is all year round flooded by tourists, finding the Woody Allen depicted personalities is not an easy spot. In Le Brazza cafe, we noticed the lady with Chanel bag, having her cappuccino next to the construction worker with muddied wellies. I’ve had the best plump pie of my life, served by the most characteristic french dressed barista (three-piece suit and white apron), extremely kind and caring I may add.

After a long overdue nap, we took a walk and few pictures in the most iconic places of Paris, we love cliches. The weather was rather cold, water snowflakes adorned my beret and the view was gorgeous. We had dinner at Cafe Le Breband with Stella from StellaAsteria.com and her fiance. I had previously told Stella, I’ve hated Paris on my first trip, I was promised I will love my second visit. And love it I did…
