Family affairs

blog

I hope you all have been having a great start to the new week. Monday had me first thing in the morning looking at the big blue eyes of my dentist. Not a pleasant start if you’re asking me but oh well that girl does have such beautiful eyes. The blue of the Mediterranian sea. A tangible nostalgia hugged my palpable homesickness.  Living far from your family sadly, it does not get better with time. Bittersweet memories monopolised my mood throughout of the day.

Sweet, such as my sister sharing bits and pieces of my capricious niece over the phone. It does seem like Sarah has been on the seventh cloud because ice-cream season has only begun at school. All day long she is contemplating whether she should buy a 200 Lek, 300 Lek or 500 Lek(Albanian currency) ice-cream. Bitter because my family members are growing up and I am not part of it.

Regardless dear readers, spring has officially sprung in Germany and it is a good reason to celebrate.

I’m wearing skirt from Whistles sold out, love this one (here), top from Family Affairs (here), sandals from Carvela (here). They come in black too (here), beautiful, aren’t they?

It appears that M. does like to take pictures and this whole blogging idea makes me happy. From now on we will post regularly on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. If you fancy it, do follow us. We post daily on Instagram too.
