Merry, Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Hope you all have been doing well and set with Christmas gifts and plans. We are hosting a Christmas party with few good friends, who decided to remain in Germany this season.
The menu has been planned and the Christmas tree has been decorated. We invested in a new sound system, a big screen as faux fireplace, borrowed table games and prayed for snow. I had actually forgotten how much I enjoyed being the host, 2016 has been an extremely busy year and we sparsely invited friends over. Creating traditions has been so important to us lately and I assume thatās part of becoming older.
What are your plans for Christmas? What will you be wearing? M. and I will be doing the cooking (Russian steamed dumplings from scratch) but nevertheless, this day calls for a festive outfit (and a long apron). I am a The Outfit Creates the Mood-type of girl, known for exaggerating sometimes because I swear on fake-it-to-make-it. Even if you’re not feeling it darling, go out of your way this Christmas, be it your sparkly outfit, Santa socks or red underwear.

First of all let me point out how much LOVE I have for this look! There is everything I love! Gold accents, stripe on stripe, pop of red, and of course that super dreamy skirt! Wow! You look gorgeous in that outfit. Not sure what I will be wearing, but I do have festive socks to wear, and a festive jumper, should it get chilly.
Have I mentioned I am spending the day with ten Italian friends along the coast from here? Roast piglet is on the menue, but we all have to take something, too. I’m taking a home made Christmas cake, some nibbles and a bottle of wine. I hope that will be acceptable.
